GEORGE
HASENBEIN (Mr.
Spoons)
George is from
Gardendale, Alabama and after finishing college at Jacksonville State
University, he moved back home. He coached basketball, taught school,
retired and moved to Gulf Shores about 7 years ago. George's free time
is now taken up by fishing, more fishing, talking about fishing, and when he
has time, fishing some more. George and his wife Audrey have a son named Quint
who lives in Montgomery, Alabama. George plays an autoharp, and, like the
rest of the group, he sings. On occasion, he will pull out his
'spoons' and play them. Unless you have a lot of time to kill, don't
ask him about the spoons, because he will surely tell you the complete
story.
