Clarence Bauer ~ banjolele and vocals

Clarence was born and raised in Summerdale, Alabama and now makes his home in Gulf Shores. He is a retired educator, having taught in the Baldwin County school system for over 31 years. He now occupies himself with volunteer activities at our church and with trying to find people around town that he did not teach while he was working (there aren't many). Clarence and his wife Zetty have two married sons: Derek (Lisa) and Andy (Mary-Allison). Clarence sings and plays the banjolele; an instrument that virtually nobody had ever heard of before he bought one. He started with the band playing a ukulele, but now prefers the banjolele.
