Neil Wade ~ upright bass and fiddle
As you've probably guessed from his nickname above, Neil is not originally from around here. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has worked around the world as a field service engineer, installing and maintaining military defense systems. Neil and his wife Margarita retired and lived on a boat for several years cruising the East Coast and Bahamas. Their boat must have sunk in 2003, because that's when they settled in Orange Beach where they are active members of Orange Beach United Methodist Church. Their son Julio lives in Washington State. Neil plays the fiddle, guitar, and his new true love, the upright bass. (Neil is originally from New York, but we overlook this minor character flaw)
